Choosing the Life of an Athlete
We have chosen a lifestyle not of great money or power. Not of great fame or fortune, but a life full of excitement, pain, glory, and courage. We spend our lives like no others would. Like no others dream about. We dream about what we can be better at, what we can perfect, who we can be. We are the hopes of generations to come. We are the pride of our families, friends, and ourselves. We work our entire lives to perfect everything we do, and to excel. We live the life that others can only dream about.
We are Athletes.
And as such, we remain glorified in our actions, in our successes and in our failures. Our lives depend on success, yes, but we rely on failure to teach us, to show us the path, to give us the strength and courage to continue. We are Athletes, we strive to be the best at everything, and we tell ourselves nothing will stand in our way, we fight off illness, failure, and injuries, yet we get back on our feet and lift ourselves higher, stronger, and more determined than before. We are Athletes. Let nothing stand in our way, may we all win, may we all be the best we can, may we all continue to be Athletes.
