My skiing background involves representing the United States in competitive aerial skiing across the globe. The backdrop for competitive skiing involves an ability to pursue and achieve goals. As an instructor, guests receive the same diligent, goal driven level of instruction, focused on safety, fun, and learning environments. Students work together in an open, fun, and exciting environment where the mountains glisten with snow, and the energy and love for skiing grows with each step.
I am a Self-motivated and results-driven professional with more than 15 years of innovative leadership and distinguished performance in public speaking and corporate solutions. Outstanding record of success in implementing new concepts, delivering innovative solutions, and facilitating operation transitions with risk management alternatives. Integrity, dignity, and standards are key values for establishing and cultivating sound business relationships. Adept at working under continuous pressure while producing strong sustainable results.
My bachelors degree is in Information Systems Security. Growing up, I was torn between competitive skiing, and fixing computers, and thus created my desire for a bachelors degree in Information Technology. After retiring from skiing, I turned my attention to education. I focused heavily on my bachelors degree, graduation with Highest Honors.
Upon obtaining my bachelors degree, I knew I wanted to learn more. I entered a masters program, and loved every second of earning my Masters of Business Administration. My MBA has thus far been my most valuable degree, I apply my education to our businesses every day.
After earning my MBA, I had a choice of law, or a PhD in business. I chose the path toward a PhD in education to pursue the life long goal of enhancing education, and supporting other learners with a life long passion toward learning and creating the future. Upon completing all coursework December 2016, my final task involved publishing my dissertation. The dissertation topic revolved around reciprocity through transformative leadership and engagement in the learning atmosphere and workplace environment.
My dissertation titled Adult Learners’ Intrinsic Motivation Through Transformational Influence and Reciprocity: A Qualitative Study was published December 2018.
